Gallery Manifesto

As I'm still interested in using my prisms and creating the effects below with coloured lasers/lights that are chorepgraphed, I decided to make my space entirely out of prisms. Prisms of different shapes and forms, spikey and blunt, a crazy, dangerous jungle of sharp, bold crystals.
My gallery would be placed on top of the Apple store on Regent street. The reason why I picked this site was because I believe my gallery would collabirate really well with apple's products. The light would be choreographed according to whatever the iPod is playing, and it would exhibit Mac's new products i.e G4 notebooks, speakers and widescreens. This would be the art.
As it's on the roof my gallery would act as a wild beacon, spreading light across the rooftops of Regent street, blinding those who have offices high up the building, and attracting lost tourists to the store. An aurora of light would flash over london whenever a song is played. In the daylight, my gallery could be attracting the sun rays and refracting them into the street, ''zapping'' the passerby's with it's harsh rays, or create a warm glow on semi-clouded days.

Plans, and drawings coming soon!
