Top 3 images are render of superflat I showed in yesterday 's final jury.
Since I didn't have enough drawing to explain step between block to flat link with a project agenda presented weak.
Now I'm working on both drawing and flat so will make sense more once flat is situated in my block.

Now I'm working on sequence of images to tell story of lifestyle in my "Body Building", I was browsing nike ads early in the day and try to get idea of images.
I really want to look my sky sports filed like steet basketball court in LA with grafitt and all those.
Those three are first try.

I think I need to adjust angle of paper thin people then it would look better.

Some big render for site collage.
Monia !! I finally managed to render A2 image (though 72dpi) on my laptop!
I like view from the side but there are still lots of things flying around...
I think I should model whole site after superflat jury and render it before table.

For flat I think I should really make my design look more liveable or usable.
However detail of corrugation is really interesting to tell story of container.

Starting from concept of making furniture and fixture out of panel of container, then surface area from original rectangular panel were folded and leftover remains cut out at original place.
However cut out had lots of problem so now I communicate this idea through materiality of corrugated steel panel.
In my idea corrugation become sophisticated joint and I want each piece of folded furniture gradually appear from wall.
Do renderings (red fold) communicate with what I'm saying ...?

I oredr to work with constrain of dimension of container panel this fold was unfolded iplane and set on unfolded plan of 4 container flat.
Then entire sheet of panels are folded.

Starting from this space resulted from folding business now I try to embed series of furnishings, interior fixture, etc...though fold itself isn't geometrically comprehensive.

From a tutorial on Friday, now I'm trying to make 3d forms first (rather than starting from 2d rectangular sheet of panel) in order to make this tecnique of folding in more articulaed way.
(last try was only folding of a single panel and angle of each fold wasn't even specified.)

A method is to divide cube into polyhedron.
In third sc shot, a cube was divided into 24 tetrahedrons.
Then delete some faces (a tetrahedron become open but still connect to others with a panel overlapping each other ) and make one continuous loop of panel.

I firstly tested with single volume then now I'm testing intersection of 2 volumes.

After working on minimizing number of frames in a cluster I got an interesting idea.
In previous posts only part got rotated were central quint headed joints but now this could happen everywhere else.
Thus structural performance of panel would be more free and internal organization of a cluster will be evident also from outside.
I'll make first model for tomorrow.

Renderingis from underground slab scape without slab !!
It won't look as open as this once slabs are introduced on site but will have different lind of quality of space from sky sports fileds.

A path colored green is public access from street to sky sports field.
(In this rendering I'm trying to show circulation from street to sports filed.this is the reason everywhere else is shaded black.)

I will show all the circulation available in my superblock, which are connection among these main 4 parts of the building.
(I will also have close shot of each part like second one.)

1-street
2-parking
3-flat
4-sports

Residents are usually allowed to get their flat either through escalator core from entrance on ground level or opening on cluster's sky sports field(I should make a hole on the sky fileds to show it...)

Either residents or visitor park a car in a parking from level -7 ~ 0 and use lift to get ground level to use public path (mass stair) or escalator.

*As same as last model underground part (slab scape) will be curved and become different type of public space so alternatively visitor might not use lift but stair (stadium like viewing stand)in order to get ground level or sky fileds.

I'm not sure how this visual communicate with my written explanation.
What do you guys think ?]]>

More or less my configuration for superblock is done.
Now size of clusters is all same but some cluster share their roof top (sky sports field) with others next to each other on same level in order to arrange bigger flat surface.
While some clusters work as an individual cluster(no public access).

Yellow core has got escalator inside stops every 4 levels (stops at green block in rendering) and
serve people at one node from min 1 cluster to max 4 clusters.
Grey vertical columns are lifts serve people from underground parking to entrance hall at ground level.
Overall my block there are 50 cluster (one cluster has got 5~7 flats depending on number of bedrooms) and all are served by 8 circulation cores.

Public circulation is yet to be revised graphically but anyway all connected!!
Rendering of blue line refers to where it start and where it leads to but I need more work on this
and also interaction of these 2 different circulation system.

In last rendering structural core is shown as purple.
I am still modifying to make whole structure work as one like octed truss(don't knowspelling).
since it always makes closed roop of diamond in different size dipending on how many node it spans
.

For Friday:
-Manifesto(I haven't touched so long...)
-Portfolio in In Design format (up to curent work)
-Flat in digi model
