The model shows one of the ideas of the "transformation" over time.
It deals with the growth of "public" and "private" space.
In this case, the smaller space represents private space, and the bigger space represents public space.
In Stage 1, the ratio of both spaces are almost equal.
However, in the stage 2, the ratio of the private and the public is about 2:1.
In the 3rd Stage, the ratio is now 3:1.
The model is still in progress; however, it starts showing one of my basic ideas on actual growth of the superblock over time.

I'm still working on different configurations of the cells.

starting from one type of cell, and by changing the angles, the program of the space can be changed.

Another possibilites for my superblock.
Up to now, I was thinking of my superblock as a collective of small cells, which made the form bit random...
Another possibility is to have few different types of bigger cells that contain smaller cells (apartment units etc...). Internal transformation can be still occured within the big cells, but the form itself becomes less random; it can be more uniformed.
Of course, the external transformation still can be occured.
Need more development.

Here is the first superwall model I made for Friday. This shows how each cell can be connected by layers.

From the previous models, here, I tried to work with "space" rahter than layers. It is still a small part of entire model, but I was trying to visualize how one space may flow to another without showing hexagonal cells

Here is more developed model from previous ones. It still maintains hexagonal hills, but I tried to loosen them a bit.

More spaces are added. Another model (blue foam version) will be uploaded tomorrow (sorry, forgot to take photos today!!)

This is one of the clusters of the block. It's still in progress, but I tried to show how internal/ external spaces can be connected.. These are layer 10 and 9.

My favorite part is the landscape.

Now I have finished casting with plaster. I will sand the plaster model after coming back from Easter vacation. I am still waiting for it to dry up completely (it's in the unit space..)

I did my first laser cutter model for superflat.
BUT... I forgot to bring my camera to the school, so I will upload the images when I get back home...
