2 Different Cell Types:
The one on the left is open private. It can afford to be open as it gives onto the inside (courtyard). It thus has balconies and large windows. The other type is closed private. The floor plates and walls are thicker to prevent noise from the outside. Instead of windows there are small openings at eye level to let light in. The width of wall on the left bends to become flooring on the right.
